Day #3 (First day with patients)-Monday 8/4

Gods work continued in motion, creating a “Statement of Change”!

Pastor Raul’s prayer message….

“When does Jesus stop?~When some one needs to hear the message”….We ask the Lord…what do you want me to do for you ~Open your eye to your spiritual blindness..Open your eyes to the Lord!! He is there to walk beside you, guide you..focus on awakening the eyes of others to know God is “already” there; waiting for someone’s eyes to open~our hearts, spiritual, physical being!

Where is God working in the midst of the day?

Today was a day of continual change making lives vibrant and mobile~the smiles whisper a an unspoken voice of gratitude!

Arrive at 8am from surrounding areas of Fray bartolome de las casas!

Today the team did an amazing job seeing 36 people, majority being older. We witnessed so many walking in extreme slow with help of family members, many were carried, placed in chairs and our team carrying them into the center.

God speaks to us through today’s reading seeing the blind, the emptiness come, leaving with “el corazón de gratitud” for everyone’s helping hands!

We arrived at the event ~ Opening with prayer over God’s work moving through people!

Rewards within our heart~ witness people leave smiling with pride and grateful for their new mobility~humbling and priceless!
