Day 6 (Final surgery day)
As we wrapped up the final day of surgeries on our medical mission trip, there was a deep sense of gratitude felt by everyone involved. Together, we successfully completed 75 surgeries and 83 procedures – each one a reminder of why we came and the lives touched along the way. The teamwork didn’t stop in the operating rooms; everyone came together to pack supplies and prepare equipment for the journey home, working side by side with the same dedication shown all week. As the day came to a close, there was a lighter spirit in the air as we began making plans for our well-earned free day, carrying with us both the impact of our work and the memories we’ve made.
