Today was a successful final day for the Robinson village team. Through the week, we have seen many patients and impacted their lives.
All around the clinic, everyone had a smile on their face. The patients, the U.S. volunteers, the Faith in Practice staff, and the local volunteers. Everyone was super happy to be there.
Throughout the day, women received glasses to help them see to sew, and patients of all ages received tooth kits and sunscreen for protection. These items, although simple, are important to the quality of their everyday lives.
After the clinic was over for the day, everything was packed up and loaded back into the truck for the next mission team. Our team then circled up to thank local volunteers and continued our tradition of giving them small gifts (raglitos).
We are all thankful for the time that we spent working with and helping these people, and are excited to do it again next year!
