Day#5-WED (8/6)

Seeing the day through the eyes of others who are witnessing life changes is an undescribable experience you internalize and never let go!

Today began quick-the patients had already arrived, patiently sitting in their seats awaiting..waiting on “Hope” to open the door for the Team to begin assessments and change the family dynamics providing independence to each family member!

The team jumped into action assessing the needs for today. The patients know God is here leading them to a place of trust, hope, and individualism.

Trust is a feeling of reaching out and someone is there to catch you, to know your needs, to nurture your body and fed your soul, heart and your spirit~

God knows, and when we lay down our guard and steal time to listen we are His vessel to use in unity to provide Hope~ each of the helping hands reaching out today, pouring trust and faith into the patients was a heartfelt gift to all!

This was seen through unspoken words as we witnessed a quiet community trust the outreach of #faithinpractice to nurture the communities mobility needs. FIP is the first volunteer group to come into Chisec, providing aid for mobility needs. This opened an opportunity for The City of Chisec to have their own outreach to provide food offerings (rice, beans, flour) among the “whole” community. Being a part of God’s work through life changes is an infectious rotation of giving, caring, faith and trust!

Not only through Faith in Pratice mobility clinic but through the City’s commitment to provide food for nourishment to their community. Hand in Hand together to build a strong Faith in God’s love!

Estradas Eleazar Iscal Caal (7yo)-The young boy has brain injury. Has been seeing a young doctor who came with him and his mother to ensure his patient received the care needed. He was carried and in and has left in a wheel chair!

This is a true testimony of commitment to community, having his doctor “walk” this medical journey with the family ~caring and nursing through the process to ensure needs are fulfilled.

This is how God is in our lives daily. He waits, leads, feed our souls…build our spiritual awareness through His words ~listen to His path and follow Him..you are never alone!!

Juana (47yo)-lays sideways due to Cerebral Palsy in her chair unable to sit up straight. She’s very communicative and has strong vision. Today she witness the love of God giving her mobility for her father to take her without being carried.

Her smile was infectious and warmed our hearts with gratitude for a comfortable place~her place in her wheelchair!

Deyner Aldan (9yo)-has Cerebral Palsy and needs a wheel chair to give mobility and remove that extend care giver needs. He is use to sitting on the floor waiting for someone to carry him when needed! His little brother showed the love for him while patiently waiting for his brother’s mobility needs were met. it will be life changing for the family to have his wheelchair freeing the momma to care for the fast paced little brother and giving Deyner the upright, chest level vision of his surroundings…no longer at the foot level!!

Rejuvenation of mobility to keep moving forward enrich one’s soul! It keeps “Hope” alive and deepens one’s Faith in Gods presence!
