When you really think about it, one can realize how good we have it and how much more we can help. From seeing the late 90-year-olds trying to sell what little they can on sidewalks to survive, some shunned from their families, who have been called monsters (i.e. Luis), because of early accidents that left them horribly scarred and banned from their communities, and La Chispa, who just had a large tumor removed the other day. Just surviving is not enough, to actually feel gratitude for being able to provide a service is not only heartwarming and causes the shedding of tears, sometimes of joy, because we’re making a little difference, as God has called us to do.
