On Friday, May 5, we held the Faith In Practice Vibrance Luncheon at Hotel ZaZa-Museum District. The spirit of Guatemala was alive in the ballroom as guests learned more about the mission of Faith In Practice. We were incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to share Orfa’s story as well as the experience of our U.S. volunteers and panelists, Erik Askenasy, MD, Jeanine LeBleu, RN, and Braford Scott, MD.
We are grateful to our event chairs, Elizabeth and Bob Morrow, MD, for their generosity and dedication to making this event such a success and would also like to thank Lucy and Jim Parker for organizing the Mercado. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying the beautiful colors, patterns, and designs that are distinctive from our beloved Guatemala.
Because of you, we were able to raise money to support the poor of Guatemala and continue our mission to change the lives of our patients and volunteers.
You can still make a donation to the mission of Faith In Practice.
