Mi Querida Fe En Practica
Quiero dar infinitas gracias en mi nombre y en nombre de todos los pacientitos y hermanos Guatemaltecos que han recibido una cirugía o algún tratamiento de parte de los médicos, enfermeros y todo el voluntariado que congregan el noble corazón y llegan a Guatemala a ser ángeles que Dios ha enviado para proveer una mejor calidad de vida. A quienes han sido parte de este beneficio, han aprovechado las jornadas de Clínicas Medicas para formar parte de una lista de espera. Ellos esperan con ansias el día de ser programados para recibir su cirugía, ya que a veces han perdido las esperanzas de sanar por ser de bajos recursos económicos y falta de oportunidad en el sistema de salud. Yo, como Líder Voluntaria Guatemalteca, soy testigo de niños, jóvenes y adultos que con mucha esperanza asisten a los hospitales Hilario Galindo y Obras Sociales para recibir sanidad por manos de los médicos que llegan por medio de Fe en Práctica, con el don de servicio. Un caso muy especial que recordaré por siempre es el de Mariita, que tenía piecitos equinos. A su corta edad, inició su proceso y ahora ya tiene dos cirugías gracias a la bondad de los voluntarios extranjeros. Puedo ver con satisfacción cómo ha ido evolucionando y ahora ya puede caminar. Es un milagro; ahora puede caminar con sus piecitos y ya no necesita hacerlo con sus rodillas. Esta es la razón por la que puedo decir gracias a Fe en Practica. Dios bendiga los pasos de cada miembro que la integra y hace posible esta gran labor. Gracias hoy y siempre.

My Beloved Faith In Practice
I want to give infinite thanks on behalf of myself and all the Guatemalan patients and brothers and sisters who have received surgery or some treatment from the doctors, nurses, and all the volunteers who bring together their kind hearts and come to Guatemala to be angels whom God has given to provide a better quality of life. Those who have been part of this benefit have taken advantage of the Medical Clinics’ days to join a waiting list. They eagerly await the day to be scheduled for their surgery, which they have often asked for, hoping to be cured due to their low economic resources and lack of opportunities in the healthcare system. As a Guatemalan Volunteer Leader, I witness children, youth, and adults who, with great hope, attend the Hilario Galindo Hospitals and Social Works to receive healing at the hands of the doctors who arrive through Faith in Practice with the gift of service. A very special case that I will always remember is that of Mariita, who had club feet. At a young age, she began her process and now has had two surgeries thanks to the kindness of the foreign volunteers. I can see with satisfaction how she has evolved and now she can walk. It is a miracle. Now she can walk on her little feet and no longer needs to walk on her knees. This is the reason I can say thank you to Faith in Practice. May God bless the steps of each member who makes this great work possible. Thank you today and always.
