Festival of Lights
The 2025 Festival of Lights in Antigua Guatemala on July 18 and 19, 2025 was a magical experience celebrating art, culture, and literature through technology. With stunning light shows and tributes to Latin American literary giants, the event left a lasting impression on the city and its visitors. Six historic monuments featured video mapping projections with rotating light shows every 15–20 minutes. More than 15 artists from Guatemala and countries such as France, Germany, Spain, Colombia, Brazil, and Switzerland participated. The festival has positioned Antigua as a regional leader in digital and immersive art, combining technology, literature, history, and community in a magical experience.
