Guatemala Updates:

“Conecta y Sana” Emotional Health Program Launch

In April, we launched Conecta y Sana (Connect and Heal), an Emotional Health Program designed to promote emotional well-being and strengthen the overall health of our team in Guatemala.

This program creates safe spaces for dialogue, reflection, and learning, addressing key topics that foster emotional awareness, self-care, and the development of practical tools to navigate personal and professional challenges in a healthier way. These workshops are being carried out with the valuable support of the AMABLE Program from the Municipality of Guatemala, reinforcing our commitment to emotional well-being and holistic staff support.

The first session focused on resilience, exploring its meaning, the importance of recognizing our emotions in the face of adversity, and the steps involved in moving through a healing and growth-oriented process. Through guided discussions and interactive activities, participants reflected on how resilience is built—understanding that it is not only about enduring difficulties, but about transforming challenging experiences into opportunities for learning, strength, and hope.

Conecta y Sana represents our organization’s strong commitment to the comprehensive care of our team, recognizing that emotional well-being has a positive impact on personal lives, workplace climate, and the quality of the service we provide.

This program will continue with additional workshops and topics focused on emotional health, reinforcing our belief that caring for our staff is essential to fulfilling our mission in a sustainable and human-centered way.
